Motorcycle License Changes
House Bill 72S1 (passed in 2008) repeals all class M licenses as of July 1, 2008.
Also, new restrictions for Motorcycle endorsement permit holders. For more information click here.
Effective July 8, 2008, a new rule will be in place which will require all new motorcycle riders to be restricted to riding a motorcycle based on the cc size of the motorcycle upon which the rider is tested. The following 3 restrictions will be used:
O = 90 cc or less Motorcycle
2 = 249 cc or less Motorcycle
3 = 649 cc or less Motorcycle
If you are tested on a motorcycle 650 cc or greater no restriction will be placed on your license and you will be permitted to ride any size motorcycle.
Office Moving
Our Northwest Office located at 799 N Redwood Rd will be closing their doors on April 28, 08 and will reopen at the Fair park 1095 Motor Ave, SLC 84116 on May 5.
Office Closures
The Sandy Express Office located at 9400 S 834 E will be permanently closing on Friday, August 14, 2008.
The Vernal Driver License Office will be closed for remodeling on August 4th and 5th. They will reopen for business on August 11th at 7:00 a.m. The Roosevelt office will be open Monday - Thursday to accommodate the customers.
Fairpark Office - will close between 7:00 am and 9:00 am on Tuesdays of the following dates:

Tooele Office - will close between 9:00 am and 10:00 am on Tuesdays of the following dates:

Renewal By Mail
If your last renewal was by mail or internet, you will need to apply at a Driver License office for your upcoming renewal. This will enable us to issue you a new Driver License with enhanced security features.

Facility Change
The St. George Driver License Office has permanently closed. The new Dixie Driver License facility at 102 South 5300 West in Hurricane (Purgatory area). Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
